The Rights of Man and Woman
We were delighted to participate in LewesLight 2018 (fri 12 - Sun 14 October 2018).
In our installation, 'The Rights of Man and Woman', we reflected the history of debate at the White Hart Hotel, Lewes, and also referenced the friendship between Thomas Paine (former Lewes resident) and Mary Wollstonecraft.
During the LewesLight festival, we projected our specially created hand-drawn animation out of the windows of the White Hart's 'Sheriff Room'. This is the room in which Thomas Paine took part in debates as a member of its famous 'Headstrong Club'.
